“Adding new capabilities all the time. With this capability in particular, unofficially called “chromoting”, Chrome OS will not only be a great platform for running modern web apps, but will also enable you to access legacy PC applications right within the browser.” These were Gary Kackmarcik’s actual words when announcing ChromeOS new characteristic to be released in future versions.

The announcement that ChromeOS will allow access to the legacy PC application through a process that the biggest Internet company called Chromoting, clarified doubts about how Google engineers would answer questions about this function. The process emulates Windows’ Remote desktop connection, which enables the user to manipulate a computer remotely in real time. Thus, by downloading a client in any computer one can use the application in any netbook that has ChromeOS. What remains a mystery is the function’s constitution.

This new concept attracts Google users because it benefits their interests since it enables them to run usual applications always within Google Chrome. Although it is not an original offer in itself, Google ChromeOS’s new feature may become an interesting option for users of Google Chrome browser.

Installing and uninstall programs in our Pc leaves a series of temporal files that in the long run they can cause trouble to the system. For this reason we need a tool such as Revo Uninstaller to completely remove any application.

Every time we need to use a program we install it on our PCs, even when we don’t know if we’re ever going to use it again. It doesn’t take long for our PCs to become full of unnecessary programs, consuming valuable system resources, making it take longer for the computer to carry out the same tasks, and generally making the machine a pain to use.

These types of situations may be resolved by removing the applications using the Windows “Control Panel – Add or Remove Programs” utility, but to properly remove applications you need a more comprehensive tool. Such a tool is Revo Uninstaller , which offers a superior solution for removing unwanted programs.

Revo Uninstaller features an outstandingly simple installation process and can be used in just a few straightforward steps, even if you’re an absolute beginner when it comes to computers.

Once installed and run, the program automatically opens up a window displaying all of the programs found on your computer. This lets you clearly see what is installed, making it easier to choose which applications you want to remove.

There are two very simple ways to uninstall a program. The first is to double-click on it from within the Revo Uninstaller window. The second way is to use the program’s “Hunter Mode”, which you can select from the tool bar at the top of the window. In this mode, Revo’s normal interface disappears and a “sight” appears on the screen. You can drag this around until it’s aimed at the program you want to get rid of (and which must be visible on the screen, either the running program itself or a shortcut to it), at which point you release the mouse button to drop the sight and “fire”.

No matter which mode you start in, the next step is the same: a window opens so that you can define the uninstall mode to use. The four possible choices are: Built-in, Safe, Moderate, and Advanced. The Moderate method is the one we recommend. So, once you’ve chosen it, click “Next”.

Revo will run, if it has it, the uninstaller of the selected program. If this isn’t available, it will take care of removing the application itself. In either case you must follow the prompts and click Next on the screens that appear until you reach the screen entitled “Found leftover Registry items”.

At this point the best option is “Select All” and “Delete”, after which you can continue by clicking Next. The process will have completed when the button reads “Finish”.

The program has now been fully removed from your computer, eliminating and updating all the affected elements, including any that were installed in the Windows directories. If the program still appears in the initial Revo Uninstaller window, click on “Refresh” to register the change and display only those programs that haven’t been touched.

By using this tool you can permanently remove any program, also removing any trace of its presence and keeping your PC as clutter-free as possible.

Download Revo Uninstaller

It´s common nowadays to have issues when transferring music files from our PC to our iPod. To make thing easier, we´ll need an application such as iTunes that will enable users to transfer multimedia files easily and quickly. Therefore, we introduce you to iTunes, a multimedia player that will enable you to copy music to your iPod with just a few clicks.

IPods are the most popular portable multimedia devices due to the handful of interesting features they deliver. However, when we plug our iPod to the PC we run into some complications, we cannot copy files using Windows Explorer as we would usually do for instance.

The solution is installing an application that features the necessary support for your iPod device so you can use it properly with your PC. That application is iTunes, Apple´s most popular application, designed to transfer music, videos and photos to the device. Once we downloaded the file and installed iTunes, connect your iPod to the PC.

First, we must add songs to the “Library” in the music tab. Once music files are there we can work with them or just play them. There are two of ways of adding tracks. You can either add tracks by dragging files of folders to the music tab, or by going to File > Add File/Folder to Library.

When having lots of audio tracks in our library, the next is to create Playlists. We can do it either by clicking on File > New Playlist Folder or by clicking on the + button found on the lower left portion of the screen. Once the Playlist is created we can rename it and drag and drop the songs we want to include in such playlist.

You can also use iTunes Music Store to buy songs or albums. iTunes Music Store has more music titles and genres available than any other music service we’ve seen. The service also offers a strong feature set, including an integrated music player, in-depth information on artists and albums, music videos, audio books, movies, television shows and games.

When you have finally organized your playlist, you can either drag and drop separate songs or the entire playlist to your iPod player. The process may take some minutes depending on the number of songs you are copying to the player.

Even though iTunes may not seem very user-friendly at the beginning, you will realize that adding music to our iPod can be done in a matter of seconds.

Following these simple steps, you´ll be able to load music into your iPod in no time. Its interface may seem a bit confusing at the beginning, but it´s very easy to master and it´s the essential complement for your iPod player.

Dowload iTunes
