Nowadays, there is a growing number of “intelligent” music player software that are able to equalizer according to the track genre we’re playing as well as creating lists according to different criteria and other utilities that are supported in the TAGS file. In many cases, these are incomplete, so that we cannot enjoy them as we wanted. A good tool to modify MP3 tags is MP3TagEditor.
This simple application is very easy to use. After running it, we will find at the top quick access to common functions that run with MP3TagEditor. On the left, we have a browser that will allow us to locate MP3 tracks. In the central panel we find the content of the folder selected in the browser, while in the bottom of the window we find the fields where we can edit the tags of the topic.
In order to edit, we must be on the subject to change and from the bottom panel we can include the data we want to modify. By selecting an extensive list of files, we can add some information common to all MP3 files (ex. the author or album) all at once. Another thing we can do with MP3TagEditor is to change the name of the subject and assign a default order.
At the same time, MP3TagEditor offers other utilities that as you feel comfortable with its simple interface you will be able to take full advantage, using the MP3 files tags of your songs.
