Private browsing with Google Chrome

Usually, average Internet users must access the web through a terminal that is not their own, whether because they are at work or using a shared computer, but they don’t want others to find out what they have been doing in the web. Google Chrome offers this kind of users the possibility of changing the settings to browse the web without leaving a trace in the browsing history.
Although Google Chrome is not the only one featuring this function, it is much easier to enable it than in other browsers. We can find this option in Google Chrome under the name Incognito Window.
In order to access it, we must click on the Tools icon, located in the top right corner of the browser’s interface.
A menu will drop down and we must choose “New incognito window” option. Another way of accessing this browsing mode in Google Chrome is by means of the key combination Ctrl + CapsLock +N.
Once we have done this, a new window will be open in the incognito browsing mode, identified with the classic image of a spy in the top left hand.
This browsing mode enables us to use all Google Chrome’s options and functions as if we were using the normal mode. The only, and big, difference is that we will leave no trace in the browsing history!
