We often leave our computer working, downloading or rendering a video, for example, while we are away. We may also use the PC to listen to music before going to sleep and we fall asleep before shutting it down. In such cases, Vista Shutdown Timer is a useful application.
This easy-to-use but efficient program will enable you to program the PC to shut down automatically, as well as to leave it in Stand By mode or restart it. With Vista Shutdown Timer we can carry out these tasks really easily and intuitively.
Just enter the program and you’ll find a series of options in its main window. The icons are the same as in Windows. Vista Shutdown Timer will ask you to select one of them and enter the time for the event to take place.
You can schedule the event to happen at a specific time or after a certain number of minutes. There’s also another option in Vista Shutdown Timer, by which you can set it to emit a warning beep before shutting down the PC.
Simple but functional, Vista Shutdown Timer only carries out specific tasks but it does so successfully and easily. Undoubtedly, this application is necessary if you leave your computer working when you’re not in front of it.
