Tricks for Windows 7: “GodMode” and others

It is known that Microsoft, every time it launches new versions of its operating system, includes “tricks” that become known and popular with their use. Windows 7 couldn’t stay behind and has already revealed a series of tricks. Working on this line we find GodMode Creator, an application that allows us to count with a few Windows 7 tricks really quickly.

With all this new tricks, we’ll be able to access to multiple configuration options, most of them not included on the “standard” control panel. The method to activate the tricks is simple but pretty thorny: we create a folder with a name that includes a dot and a code and that’s it.

For example:

trick1.{025A5937-A6BE-4686-A844-36FE4BEC8B6D}

One of these alternatives allows you to access to all the options from one place that was named “GodMode”. To count with it, you’ll need to do the process that was detailed before, using the code {ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C} after the dot. GodMode will give us access to a “super control panel”, centralizing all the options on a single place.

Beyond the eye-catching fact of counting with multiple options that we didn’t know of, we’ll see also a series of configuration options that can result pointless because we don’t count with the appropriate devices to put them into practice, like the biometric device controller.

A good method to filter only the ones that interest us the most is to create ourselves the folders individually, with the codes, or we can use GodMode Creator. This simple application shows us the icons of the folders to be created with a descriptive title, and through a simple click it’ll create the folder on the desktop.

Whatever it is the method you choose, manually or with GodMode Creator, it is worth to try it and have fun with these new tricks.
