Convert among video formats with Any Video Converter Professional

Several times we find ourselves needing to convert a video file into another format and, to be able to do it we need to search for a specific program that does it, and even use 2 programs because we can’t find one which does it directly. To give a solution to this kind of problems is that Any Video Converter Professional was developed.

This program is an application that allows us to convert all type of file formats supporting many of them very fast and intuitively. Once we access the program, we find on the main window a menu bar on the upper part were we’ll be able to access the different functions of Any Video Converter Professional. Below that we can find some shortcut icons to a few main functions such as “Add Video”, “Convert”, “Stop” and “YouTube”, as well as a shortcut to the conversion profile.

Any Video Converter Professional organizes the formats that it works with based on different categories, showing us not only the file extension, but also the name of the format or device player to which it is associated. Moreover, we can personalize the view so once inside the conversion profile shortcut, we only see the options that we use more frequently.

Another option of the tool is the download of videos from very popular web pages like YouTube, Google or Metacafe. With only entering the correspondent URL to the video and the format to which we want to have it converted when downloaded, we’ll be able to perform this task very easily and fast within a few clicks. Using this program we can even access our own service account, as it has on its options menu, fields to enter user name and password.

On the other hand, Any Video Converter Professional counts with a small video player from its own interface which has, as well, a basic editor which we can use to cut a shot, isolate a piece or do a capture of the video. This player can be found on the right part of the window.

A negative aspect of Any Video Converter Professional’s trial version is that the conversion is limited to only 3 minutes on each video. Although it does provide us, with the editor, with the possibility to select the piece that we want to convert when we have them stored on our computer, it doesn’t let us perform this function with the files that it downloads directly from the web.

As it can be seen, Any Video Converter Professional is an application that introduces many tools as well as a simple conversion among the different video formats. Although its development is pretty basic, it’s important to say that its use is really simple. Beyond the limitations of the trial version, it can get us out of trouble in more than one opportunity.
