Recover deleted files from our PC with Pandora Recovery
When all hope seems lost, we can turn to Pandora Recovery, an application that can save you the trouble of having accidentally deleted files from your computer, even after you formatted your hard drive. In a matter of second Pandora Recovery can recover any type of files including photos, audio files, videos, documents and more.
Every time you run Pandora Recovery a recovery wizard will guide you in case you are not familiarized with these types of applications.
When you launch Pandora Recovery, it will recommend you to save the recovered files in a different partition from the one you are trying to recover the files from –to avoid file overwrite. When clicking next, Pandora Recovery will browse the Recycle Bin to ensure that files are not there. In case they are not there, choose “No, I did not find my files” and click next. Now, Pandora Recovery will ask you to select the drive that hosts the files and lick next.
Before starting to scan the drive, we can choose between three options:
Browse: In case you want to browse the drive and review individual files and folders.
Search: In case you want to search by full or partial file name; file size; file creation date and File last accessed site.
Deep (surface) Scan: To scan the drive´s surface for files of certain types.
In this case, we will choose “Browse”. Click next to continue.
When the scan finishes, Pandora Recovery will display a browser window similar to Windows shell. On the left we can see the directory tree of the drive we selected. The folders marked with a red X are deleted folders which may or may not contain deleted files.
If we successfully found the file we wanted to recover right-click on it and select “Recover to…” and remember to choose a different drive from the one you´re trying to recover the files. Finally, click “Recover Now” to finish the process.
