What is Facebook Friends Checker and how do I install it?
Facebook users grows by the minute, the more addicted we became to it, the more we start searching for new tools and features. That´s why we introduce you to “Facebook Friends Checker”, a Greasemonkey script that allows you to check whether or not a friend deleted you from their friend list. We will now provide the following steps for you to install the script quickly and easily.
To will explain what scripts are for you to get a better understanding of them and how they actually work. They are basically is a programming language that allows control of one or more software applications. “Scripts” are distinct from the core code of the application, which is usually written in a different language, and are often created or at least modified by the end-user. Scripts allow you to modify and add feature to sites like Gmail, o modify the font of the favorite portal, download videos from YouTube, etc.
However, Facebook Friends Checker´s Greasemonkey is an exclusive add-on for Firefox developed by “user scripts”.
As well as other scripts, Facebook Friends Checker was developed by users to modify and add features to websites, in this case: www.Facebook.com.
What Facebook Friends Checker basically does, is checking our contacts/friends list periodically and will give us a message alert when there were changes in the list. For some, having been deleted from a friend list might not be something to worry about, but for those who want to know whether someone removed them from their friend list, Facebook Friends Checker will do the job.
First, we must install Greasemonkey and only then we can add Facebook Friends Checker. Installing both items is simple. Just click “install” (upon finishing the installation you will be asked to restart the browser, hit “ok” to continue). Once both Greasemonkey and Facebook Friends Checker are installed, we can see a monkey icon on the sidebar on the right and lower side of the browser window, this means both scripts are properly installed.
Now that Facebook Friends Checker is enabled, we get to know which “friend” deleted from their friend list and we may even regret having installed Facebook Friends Checker.
