Want to find out if someone deleted you from Facebook?

Facebook, among other social networks, has become an increasingly popular tool for people to show themselves to others all over the world. But most importantly we can dig into our friend´s lives, their friends and the friends of their friends as well. With Facebook, we can look for a distant cousin, a friend from primary education, tall people, short people, young, old… just about any kind of person you can think of, and encounter some others which were not meant to find. However, what we weren´t aware of, is which of our friends actually deleted us from their friend list.

Facebook -as well as Twitter and other social networks/micro-blogging services- have become without a doubt the most popular one throughout the world thus becoming “Social RSS” since users are constantly telling others “what they are thinking”.

There are those to use it to just to meet people from other cultures, other for commercial purposes –like the gaming or music industry- and some others to actually meet people. However, anyone would be pissed if they knew a friend or acquaintance deleted them from their friend list. Though this so-called friend only moved you to another group, this means you are no longer a part of their friend´s circle.

For some, having been deleted from a friend list might not be something to worry about, but for those who want to know whether someone removed them from their friend list, there is a new GreaseMonkey script called “Facebook Friends Checker”.

What Facebook Friends Checker basically does, is checking our contacts/friends list periodically and will give us a message alert when there were changes in the list.

In other news, Facebook CEO signed an agreement with Vivox the integrated voice service for virtual worlds like Second Life and EVE Online, and which already has more than 15 million users worldwide. The new Vivox voice chat system for Facebook will allow any user to start a conversation with anyone on their friends list. The service will also be available to third-party developers who want to integrate voice into their applications.

To sum up, if you think someone has deleted you from their list, be sure to grab Facebook Friends Checker to verify if you´re still a “friend” in your friends´ contact list.
