Facebook, among other social networks, has become an increasingly popular tool for people to show themselves to others all over the world. What Facebook Friends Checker basically does, is checking our contacts/friends list periodically and will give us a message alert when there were changes in the list.

In other news, Facebook CEO signed an agreement with Vivox the integrated voice service for virtual worlds like Second Life and EVE Online, and which already has more than 15 million users worldwide. The new Vivox voice chat system for Facebook will allow any user to start a conversation with anyone on their friends list. The service will also be available to third-party developers who want to integrate voice into their applications.
