Easy Web Editor

Easy Web Editor is an application to make the first steps into web design. It features a nice tutorial that will guide you through the basics such as: inserting text, images, multimedia content, create tables, animated GIFs and web elements (buttons, forms, borders, links, etc). Easy Web Editor includes hundreds of functions such as: frames with drag & drop, mouse over sensitive images, header and footers, styles, advanced frame set management, slides, keywords, internal album, insert Flash animations, forms and much more.

Its simple graphical interface works under the acronym WYSIWYG (What you see is what you get) featuring simultaneous browsing and editing (you can browse links with a double click); visual linking (you select the link destination with active previews, even when you show separate popup windows and/or insert complex frame-to-frame links). You can edit your website offline, then just a click and the built-in Internet Publishing (FTP) cares of the upload/update to your Web space, with automatic detection of modified pages.

Easy Web Editor is not for newcomers only, since it offers advanced features for experts alike. Still, it doesn’t web 2.0 features such as blogs, widgets, feeds, rss, etc.
Likewise, its editor has some limitations when inserting objects that remind us to word processing applications.

Aurora Web Editor Professional

Aurora Web Editor is a fine looking web editing application that enables users to create websites quickly and easily. The visual editing environment (WYSIWYG – What You See Is What You Get) displays your website the way it will look once online. Adding text, pictures and links is a breeze. You can even drag items around the screen to resize and position them exactly how you want.

One disadvantage of this software is that its interface does not offer functions to add multimedia objects (we can only add background sounds). We can´t add videos on a website, either.

WYSIWYG Web Builder

When thinking about high quality web professional projects’, WYSIWYG Web Builder offers you an interesting option. This application features a user- friendly interface for inexperience user that they will later discover when exploring its functions and options.

Most of the WYSIWYG Web Builder functions´ are easily access; between them the variety of web elements as links, forms, many buttons, images and text boxes.
The main advantage of this software is the possibility of adding Flash objects, different formats videos, Java, ActiveX and OLE objects.

We also have Internet 2.0 elements as blogs, Java script, RSS feeds, slideshows and many buttons for PayPal electronic business.
On the other hand, WYSIWYG Web Builder offer browser preview, web publication via FTP, spelling and grammar correction, HTML editor and a desk-top similar to a professional design software.
All things considered, WYSIWYG Web Builder has few cons. We can only hope for a version to be developed in our own language and a graphic tutorial that shows the potentiality that this web design software has.

To sump up, the 3 software fulfill the expectation of any inexperience user when designing a web site. It does not demand functionality, time or knowledge, the best choice is Easy Web Editor.
