Google has ended rumors by announcing the launching of a new operating system based on Linux, specially thought for laptops. Although many details are yet unknown, the company announced the name of its product, Google Chrome OS, and guaranteed simplicity, functionality and security.

Despite the small piece of information given by Google about its new product, we have been able to explain certain features of its interface. For instance, thanks to its name, it is possible to notice that the set of programs included will be regarding the access and the user management within the network. In other words, by using Google Chrome OS, it will be possible to access other original applications that will make the user’s task, easy.

Perhaps is too soon to talk about the launching date, but if we bear in mind that within some months the source code will be published, it is possible to think that for next year we will find thousands of mini laptops with Google Chrome OS.
